Bauspiel Wooden X Shapes | Set of 8 or 48

The Bauspiel Xs are beautifully made, extremely sturdy and have a finish much like a Grimms natural rainbow (so they're a rich amber colour). They have a lovely grippy feel and can create many interesting builds that cannot be achieved with other blocks and they inspire a lot of creativity because of this. I currently have 8 and plan to buy more in the future, as I have found myself wanting more whilst building. Having said that, 8 is a great starting amount to test the waters with my kids, and also so I can and to my collection as I go without a big upfront expense. When using this product, I highly recommend purchasing both the Lucite Cubes and the Mandala Traingles, I found both match up to the size of the Xs and I have been able to create some interesting things with them. At the moment, I have 5 mandala triangles and 10 lucite cubes...once again, I intend to add to these numbers at some stage due to finding myself looking for more in larger builds. At first I was hesitant about buying these due to their price, however I don't regret them at all and they are an exceptionally well made product and I believe they are worth the price.
